Why We Built This Site
Louisiana gives the public access to a great deal of court and law-enforcement information, but the hard part is working out which office holds the piece you need. A warrant does not sit in one place. The court that issues it sets the charge and the bail, while the sheriff's office serves the process and can say whether it is still open. A bench warrant for a missed court date often stays with the mayor's court or the justice-of-the-peace court that had the case. Jackson Parish publishes no single warrant database that ties those offices together, so it is easy to check one counter, find nothing, and assume the matter is closed.
We pulled the contact details, the search routes, the record types, and the public-records steps for each of those offices into one reference. The goal is simple: help a reader checking their own status, or a family member's, reach the office that actually holds the answer.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Louisiana court, sheriff's office, or state agency. The limits are worth stating plainly:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot recall, quash, clear, or withdraw a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or take payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a walk-through at any office
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a particular warrant applies to you
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address here is current today
Only the court that issued the warrant, or the sheriff's office that holds it, can confirm whether it exists and whether it has been recalled or served. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here carry search boxes supplied by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices and run their own services. When a search leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that revenue keeps this site free to read. We do not control what a partner charges or what its results contain, and a partner's output is not an official warrant check.
